Hand Thrown, Altered Form with Hand Painted Cobalt Blue Fish and Dragonfly Designs Inside and Outside.  The bowl is 12" across and 3.75" high.  It would make a lovely centerpiece.
 
Stoneware is high fired to over 2200 degrees F.  Stoneware is chemically stable.   This stability makes it safer and healthier and provides cleaner flavors.  Food doesn't stick, sliding out of the glazed surface and making it easy to clean.
